I'm 13 and want to lose weight! :/

I've tried exercising and eating healthy but nothing works!! If I don't lose weight I can't stay a cheerleader/ soccer player

Go on a diet. Excersicing takes time but it will help. Trust me!

Keep on trying. I've been running around my house a ton everyday, eating veggies and fruits. Eventually you'll lose some weight. How can not being a certain weight affect your sports? Are you losing stamina or something?

IDK my coach just tells me that I have to lose weight or I cant be on the cheerleading team because I'm 124lbs and I'm one of the heavier one on the squad but not the heaviest

If you have to make yourself sickly skinny for cheer it isnt worth it

Join a gym for low cost & do a lot of cardio work outs.

Exercise for the mental health therapy. Not the weight loss. Walking eliminates so many problems. Including hunger.

If you are actually overweight talk to your parents about getting you to a nutrisionist or just having them help you with losing the weight. I really hope your not healthy & thinking your overweight because too many girls make themselves anorexic or balemic bexause they think theyre fat when theyre really fit and healthy.

You should really talk to your parents and or a nutritionist. I dont think 124 is too heavy for a 13 yr old. Depending how tall you are. My 12 yo niece weigh 100 and is a good healthy build. I think by the time she is 13 she'll weigh about what you do.

but my mom tryed saying to my coach that it is muscle cause i'm 5.3 and go the gym 5 days every week

It probably is muscle.... Its really not healthy for you to try to lose weight and be under weight & it sounds like that is what your trying to do. :(

Stay to a healthy diet and dont be lazy, be active! Even if its just going on a 20 min walk. And give yourself on day a week to eat some treats (probably a saturday), not the whole day eating bad but just have a candy bar or soe desert that day. Someone in my family did that and theyve lost almost 200 lbs
