In order to run away together, juliet drinks a potion that causes her to fall into a deep sleep that makes her appear dead. Her family would bury her, romeo would later then dig her up. However, romeo doesn't get informed that she is not really dead. Later when he sees her asleep, he assumes she's dead and kills himself with poison. Juliet wakes up, sees romeo dead and stabs herself, dead. people swarm in and find them both dead. capulets and montegues resolve their fued in their romeo's and juliet's names and build a statue of them.
Romeo thinks Juliet is dead, romeo kills himself, juliet isn't dead so when she wakes up and sees Romeo, she kills herself. That's of, course, a very quick summary. You should read it though. It's a classic :)
Both Romeo and Juliet die at the end. The Capulet's and the Montague's also realize that they're feuding has cause them their loved ones. Therefore they make peace and decided to build a statue in honor of their deceased children (Romeo&Juliet)
