How can I find an affordable and appealing tropical cruise?

I'm determined to visit some place tropical with my husband at least once in my lifetime, and I am a bit excited about the idea of being spoiled on a cruise vacation. We were looking at 3 days or so to test how well I do on the water, and the farthest we could reasonably go is the Caribbean or Panama Canal (Sadface, I was hoping for South America). Does anyone know of any good cruise lines that offer some pretty destinations and decent prices? Personal experiences are welcome. :) I'm trying to get excited about equator-based options since my ideal destination is expensive to get to ):

Well, hi, Poindextra! Long time, no talk and I want to say I LOVE to see happy people and you look so happy. You've brought a lot of help, peace & happiness into other people's lives. It WILL come back to you (and it's VERY evident it has)!!!

They don't all go together, but I've got about 6-8 friends that go to the Bahamas every year on Carnival Cruise Lines and say they wouldn't go with anyone else. I've heard Princess is good also. I just had a very dear friend that JUST got back last week from her first cruise and it was to the Bahamas. She also went on Carnival and said, "I'd heard they were good, but I wasn't expecting anything like what it was." Good luck in finding something. Best wishes and God Bless.

You can find an affordable and appealing Tropical Cruise by choosing the appropriate time for vacation. Mostly it should be during the off season for the cheapest cruise prices. Go to Cruise lines that routinely offers deal such as Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Carribean.

If you are an Auto Club member, their travel agency is a great place to start. Actually I do not think you have to be a member. The travel agency is for anyone.

Talk to the travel agent and give him/her your ideas on where and what you want to do. They will do everything they can to find what you are looking for.

You do not have to take them up on what they offer. It will give you an idea of what to look for; but honestly, they try to get you the best price possible.

Well, I'm not too far from downtown, here's hoping we can find something that also flies us out of the local airport so we don't have to go far. Thanks <3
