If ankle monitor equipment isnt plugged in will it still track the person if they leave?
I do not think an ankle monitor equipment can track someone if they leave, if it was left unplugged. Those who operate it are very keen and they would never leave it unplugged for any given reason.
I'm sure they thought of that. It can't be that easy to escape.
If the signal is interrupted for any reason, the oversight agency is immediately notified, and in turn the probation or parole officer is notified. This can be cause for immediate revocation.
