I wonder why I cannot seem to walk fast in very hot, dry weather (yet my boyfriend can) and if there is something wrong with me?

Today around 2:45 in the afternoon my boyfriend and I set foot to my mother's townhouse practically a block away and across the street from us. While he pranced away so easily taking every step forward, I was left behind barely able to breathe, trying anxiously to catch up with him to no avail. I felt so wimpy and helpless, unable to do such simple exercise as walking. I thought I shouldn't use the 95+ degree weather in my area as an excuse if my beau and so many can do it. I do take several meds, though,..

Maybe it has something to do with the meds you are taking. But guys usually walk faster than girls because they take bigger steps. I always tell my husband to slow down when we are walking together.

I think it's the meds. :)

Well this happens to me a lot! Mine is just asthma. So I have to keep an inhaler with me. If I were you I would talk to my doctor about it.
