They now allow all poll questions. That's why we are seeing so much nonsense. It's not just for a week. I was told to contact cs and give my input. Maybe if we all do they may change it. Or not.

wow now I can be mean???? luv it...:)
And you will never know! Bwahhahahahahhahaha
I hope it's just for a week it's driving me crazy
And Someone go ask if anyone Here would like to donate too
And the question won't get deleted
A perfect example of taking advantage of the new ask.com
All I know for sure is that there was a question up with the S-word in the further details, and the Q stayed up for over a day!! I flagged it of course, but it did no good. Ask DebW if you see her :)
Yeah, They did turn it off. I agree with everyone above ^^^^. It is driving me crazy as well. What happened with Your Question got removed? or Your comment was too colorful. Let's just hope for the best. =D
It's a trend that should fade around the same time school starts in September. ;)
I agree with Mona, everything should calm back down in September.
Lol! Maybe the mods went on a little vacay! ;)
Hi Hollow_Breeder,
We didn't turn off the guidelines, but as others have mentioned, we are allowing all poll questions now. The guidelines will be updated to reflect this policy change. We are working hard to ensure that all poll questions are categorized correctly. If don't want to see poll questions, you can do the following to remove them from your experience.
- Click on "Browse" in the left nav
- Click on "Browse Settings" found in the blue bar just above the questions list
- Click "Edit Categories"
- Select the category(ies) that you no longer want to see in Browse - Polls would be appropriate in this case
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes"
Once you do this, you will no longer see Poll questions unless you change your settings or navigate directly to the Polls category.
