How do you know if you and a guy are "talking"? Like more than friends but not dating yet.

My ex and I broke up and the same day one of our friends was talking to me to make sure I was ok. He told me I was real cute and a keeper. My friend asked him if he liked me and he said yeah. However, I'm not sure if we're "talking" or just talking like normal friends.

You would know that you and a guy are talking more than friends if he tries to compliment you in everything you do. When a guy wants to be more than friends, he would start deviating from the normal friendship talk and start to drop hints of wanting to date you. You should give yourselves more time and see how it goes.

It's up to you, now. He cares how you feel, likes how you look, and considers you a "keeper."

I'd say keep him as a friend, but try doing something *like* a date so you can see if you like him more.
