How long does toothpaste last after the expiration date?

I didn't even realize toothpaste HAD an expiration date.

I didn't know either until my mom ( a hygienist) asked.. guess we BOTH learned something new 2 day.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter, although a couple months after it gets a little bit harder to use.

Toothpaste lasts for 2-3 months after the expiration date. You need to store it at medium temperatures so that it can last for a long time. However, it's not good to use expired products since they can harm you. You need to get a new tube as soon as the one that you have expires.

Toothpaste lasts up to 1 year after the date. That is the use by date.
