My hair is seriously poofy. Not frizzy, poofy. How to I make it dry straight so it's easy to style before school

Blow dry with a round brush or try braiding it while it's damp so that it completely dries when it's tightly bound together

You need a serious hair straightener, a professional one, or you can get a reverse perm, is your hair curly?

No it's straight just dries big

Have you tried applying mousse or gel when wet? That should help tame it.

Try a flat iron (salon grade) that will b better than chemicals & should do the trick.
