They're only trying to help support their families. Is that so wrong? Really now what's wrong with the USA? I thought it was a free country? What's the point of having a free country when you have to pay to get in? That's kindof like a misleading YouTube video for example. How about you just call it " free if you're one of the people who got here first or paid to get in" ?
here is the thing i`m mexican i have heard both sides of this from my white friends and my mexican friends most of my family was illegal in this country but the thing is is that illegal people we are not aliens work in jobs that Americans wont work in they are to lazy i know many Americans that are unemployed my dad owns a company that mows lawns and offered work to one of my friend's parents but declined if he really wanted a job he would of taken it no offense but Americans used to be hardworking but now they are just lazy bums that only look for a scape goat for their unemployment issue without illegal people this country would of turn out to be just as poor a Mexico and again no offense if you are American i do know that some Americans are still hard working people
Americans would work at any job offered if it came with a fair wage! Illegals are working for slave wages so why should the companies pay living wages to legal residents? This is NOT A RACE ISSUE! The same facts apply to illegals from anywhere! Additionally, allowing illegals to stay and work and buy homes and take a "path to citizenship" spits in the face of all of the people who have done everything legally, by the book, waiting, paying their dues to come here legally. If people from oppressed countries would get together like they do here, put all that energy into making their own countries better, maybe they wouldn't have to come here and suck our resources dry.
We are a country of laws. Illegals have broke the law by coming here illegally. We should never reward law breakers by letting them stay in our country no matter what their circumstances are. Would we reward a bank robber if he robbed because he was broke?
Mostly, it isn't true. The jobs they work are things that Americans consider themselves too good for, cropping tobacco, picking peaches, etc. Alabama passed one of the most restrictive immigration laws in the country and crops are rotting in the fields because we don't want to do that kind of work "it's too hard" And forget the crap about not paying a living wage, Americans don't want any part of hard labor. One of our state reps offered a woman who said she would do anything a job cleaning up his yard, mowing, etc for $15 an hour. She quit after two because it was too hard. And not all illegals work for nothing. We paid $15 and $12 an hour to two Mexicans with our siding company. We tried white first and got The guy who got drunk each weekend and didn't show up on Monday The guy who took forever to do anything cause it was hot The guy who stole tools The guy who stole our truck The biggest difference construction companies find and why we prefer mexican, honduran, etc? Those guys WORK, seven days a week if you let them, dawn to dusk, in whatever the weather. It's been 105* here for days and the only folks you see working through the day on job sites are the Spanish. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we should have an open door policy but allowing young people to stay under obamas rules is fine. Coming up with some kind of visa for farm/ construction work is fine.

We are a nation of laws, and on the surface it seems incredibly unjust that we look the other way regarding illegals while the law abiding immigrants wait patiently in line for years for the same privilege. But the situation is not equitable between the two groups. Legal immigration has a lot of advantages over living in the shadows as an illegal where the secrecy of daily life makes otherwise mundane tasks harder. Illegals will work all their lives, yet they will never collect the Social Security, and MediCare taken from their wages. Illegals are not only the ones willing to do the demeaning and back-breaking work that others will not do, but for most, that is the only life they will ever know.
If we really want to end the problem of illegal immigration, we must be willing to pay A LOT more for the products and services that are produced from that labor. Most people who want to end illegal immigration, as I do, are unwilling to pay the price.
. The illegals are driving my wages straight to hell. I've been in the field doing that hard construction work many claim we won't do for 23 years now and the biggest problem we have is illegal aliens stealing jobs. I've seen in my life time almost all of my friends and family's Jobs and businesses that have been family owned and operated for generations go completely broke due to these lowballing criminals. Even my legal Hispanic friends want them OUT !!!!!!!! It's to the point we've been over run. Come to Texas and see for yourself.
