What is the deal with the little dial on bathroom scales?
When I weigh myself, I find I constantly have to re-adjust the little dial on the scale! Why? For example I step on the scale and see I weigh 203. So I think: "Hmm, I put on a couple of pounds". Then I step off and when I do, I notice the measuring line is not on zero (0) lbs. exactly and so I have to realign it using the dial. When I do, I see I weigh 200 lbs! I have to repeat this process so many times. Is this just an example of using a cheap scale? Why can't the scale always be "synchronized" if that is the right word without me using the little dial?
