any kind of sex would be a sin if premarital
I don't think that the Bible mentions oral sex......can't say for sure though
According to the Bible any kind of "sex" is a sin until you're married.
Marriage must be honored in every respect, with no cheating on the relationship, because God will judge the sexually immoral person and the person who commits adultery. (Hebrews 13:4 CEB)
I like your answer, Greenie!
Not unless your married...but please...although most of these answers are correct...don't trust us...go look it up for your self!
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
The bible says to abstain from it. Sex outside of marriage is a sin. The ability to procreate is a sacred ability and purpose given to man by God. when God first create the world, he made Adam and eve, and said neither the man is without the woman nor the woman without the man. He commanded them to multiply and replenish the earth. Se.x should be a sacred and private act between a married man and women, as a way to make children and to express love. it is not meant to be abused. yes, it's a sin.
I didn't see oral... but that is still a sexual act.
Greenie!
It is written:
Leviticus 21:13
And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
The sanctity of marriage is one man and one woman only and no other manner is acceptable.
Sex is Sex .. any kind of sexual activity .. even kissing can be construed as sexual activity. I'm not talking about kissing your dear ol' Gramma kind of kissing .. I'm talking about sexually charged kinda kissing .. although harmless between two unmarried people .. kissing in a sexual manner is considered as adultery if a person who is married is doing it with someone other than their spouse.
Sex is the Bible is defined in a very limited way compared with modern definitions. In the Bible sex is ONLY between a man and a woman, with penetration (some say only vaginal, others say including anal). Oral sex is not considered sex in the Bible, and is not disallowed explicitly, as it was not considered sex. Also, homosexual relations between two men are disallowed (because one man takes on the woman's role), but not between two women.
You may ask then if we are to conclude that the Bible does not condemn oral sex between two unmarried people. It does, but indirectly. The Bible commands us, "You shall be holy, for I, the Lord thy God, am holy" (Leviticus 19:2). The rabbis have learned from this commandment that unwholesome acts are also disallowed, although not banned explicitly. That is why most orthodox rabbis are against lesbianism or oral sex between unmarried couples.(Some are against the latter also between married couples for the same reasons.)
Rashi indeed commented that "you shall be holy" means to "...refrain from sex and sexual transgressions, for on the other side of the boundary of sexual transgressions is where you find holiness".
The Bible doesn't really differentiate between different kinds of sex. Anyone who has sex before they are married are required to get married or pay the dowry for the "used goods."
Even seeing someone naked before your married is a sun! Let alone touching them!
all sex before marriage is sin, don't engage in it! wait until you've found and married the right person!
What if you are not sexually compatible with your woman? Before marriage would certainly be a good time to know.
P.S
I know Sam that I sometimes let myself go. Perhaps it is because I'm now married! :)
I've never heard so many uptight answers. if two consenting adults want to have sex they should. the man made religious beliefs are ludicrous.
