Is my friend faking her bad eyesight?

Okay. So not that long ago she told me her eyesight was +1 or whatever. Thats not bad at all. But other times she says she has double vision and that she cant see a thing without her glasses. She does not have any contacts, and i only see her wearing her glasses once every 2 months! About a month ago she showed me these new glasses she got and told me they were fake. But yesterday, she had the same glasses on, so I tried them on, and I was like "haha these don't do anything?" and she was like "that's because you don't have double vision, stupid!!" which makes no sense, because even if they were double vision glasses, they'd be extremely blurry to me. This seems to make no sense. Is she lying to me?

There is a possibility she might be faking her eyesight problem. However, there are thousands of learning issues, medical problems and behavior quirks that exist in the world. You can't be expected to know about all of them, and most people are unfamiliar with vision issues. For more information, you may need the opinion of an eye specialist. Unless someone's vision is close to yours ... any correction in the glasses would be obvious to you.

She is probably fos. You sound young and young people do lots of crazy stuff. No harm no foul. Just fun and maybe fashion. Let her have her fun.
