Sloppy mortar on cmu's?I need to know if this is an issue or not? Not a basement.

Foundation Construction

You can perform a slump test on the mortar on site to make sure it isn't watered down too much. The mortar should be a certain strength. You can have samples taken of the mortar and have a break test done to make sure it provides the correct psi strength.

The sloppy mortar on CMUS is an issue. This is because it produces weak concrete for your foundation when carrying out construction. The sloppy mortar is also messy and sticky.
