Seriously? No. Some people will die and the world will end as they know for them. Others will continue to live in an ever-changing world. Deeper research has disclosed that even the Mayan calendar does not claim the world will end on that date. This is a myth.
A guy just deciphered the writings from the Mayans that suggested that date as the end. It turns out that the leader that wrote this did it for a warning to his people. They had just lost a war and were contemplating new leadership. It was done to scare the people into being more passive to the ruling party. Remember that the end that you speak of was predicted by a civilization that thought sacrificing a virgin would make crops grow
There is no way to figure out the answer. Only GOD knows. It will be business as usual when that time comes. Even though they said it won't because of a second Myan calendar was discovered. ( supposedly ).... Everyone will still be wondering until that time gets closer and then passes. But for me NO the world will not end.
Only God knows. He does not allow humans to know the future. Some psychics claim to know some things. Knowing our future would allow us to do something different and change it. We would probably change many others futures also. This is why. Ask God this question when you see him in the afterlife. You may never get this information even then? Don't worry about things we weren't meant to know.

Good question, I've wondered myself and then came across this answer, Leap day was made by ceasar in, I believe around 50 AD. And we've had (I'm not sure the exact number) but lots and lots of leap days since then. Now if you were to take those days out of the timeline, we would be in 2013 going on 2014 right now. The Mayans didn't use leap day so according to the calendar, we should already be done. Sorry of this is somewhat vague but does it make sense?
