i would say tween or teen, depending on the kid and parent. like, if there is a good relationship between the two and the parent can trust the kid. but later if the kid is the kind to always go behind their parent's back and do as they want.
My daughter is 14 & she is not allowed to have facebook, I've shown her its nothing but drama and people describing their day from when they wake up to go to the toilet to when they go to bed after brushing their teeth and in between people talking about each other, like, really! what is that
Most likely 13 the only reason i got a Facebook is because i was moving away. But otherwise if you were moving or close friend did i would say 16 with supervision cause a lot of stuff happens online and when your on Facebook it becomes a routine and becomes addicting.
you should follow the standard Facebook regulations. Facebook states that you have to be at least 13 years old to join Facebook, but rumors says that there is coming a new version of Facebook for those who are under 13, with the advantage that Facebook supervises and monitors your progress on the site.
The law is that you have to be at least 13 to have an account. Many people have a Facebook and they're too young and they lie about their age. So 13, but I personally think you should be 16 because what is a 13 year old gonna do on Facebook? There is no point in having a Facebook if you already text your friends.
