They need to hear themselves be called 'beautiful' to feel better about themselves. Maybe they're desperate for attention. I don't know.

It's called trolling for compliments and hopefully they will out grow it!

Insecurity. Easy to ask a bunch of people you've never met the type of question you wouldn't ask anybody in the real world, I suppose.
