I have a potted gardenia bush that requires acidic soil. What can I add to the soil to achieve this?

One of the easiest ways to make soil acidic is to add sphagnum peat. This works well, more especially in small garden areas. You can also make the soil acidic by adding ingredients like oak leaves, pine needles and coffee grounds.
