Can two female betta fish live together?

I wana buy a female betta fish but I want more 2. can they live together? or atleast how many can I have in a tank? please and thanks

No and I know this from experience. I was a dumdum and put mine together...... One survivor.

No, they will fight each other and one will die. Separate bowls

I am pretty sure you can have two female betas together. It's just the males you can't put together. And actually I have a male beta in with three goldfish in a 20 gallon tank he is fine. But yes you can put two females together :) just to be positive I would go google it or ask someone who works with fish. Hope I helped :)

Lovdaair, you need a large tank for this & don't add another one after the initial few. I have had 22 tanks of different fish, including betas. I have tried more than 3 female betas and they fought until the fittest survived. I had 1 beta left. Maybe, it depends on factors I am unaware. Ever tried sting ray, whale, piranhas, red devils? Let me know your speciality. Thanks

Females can't even be held with males until their ready to breed, they are very territorial!
