What kind of brakes do a Chevy Colorado have. I think its pads on the front but what about the back, disk or pads?

The Chevy Colorado has brake pads on the back. They are the replaceable friction pads that pinch the brake disc or drum when the brakes are applied. As the padding wears out, it needs to be replaced.
