I think worse than any physical damage is the psychological damage. It changes one's priorities, hobbies and things that turn one on in life. It might decrease one's chances of getting good grades in school and not going to college and living up to one's potential because one is too distracted. My whole point is that most of the damage is not physical but psychological and that is also puts one in bad environments interacting with bad people.
You'll miss out on so many other things at a young age! Coming from a 48 year old drinker & smoker, not trying to be 'yucky'. Substitute a crazy, outrageous fun day with a friend doing something you've Never done B4!
Both will lead you straight to the pickle of death my dear. Plus smoking can cause cancer, your teeth will slowly start to become rotten, nasty little things,oh & you may age faster:) it's not pretty or useful, so don't do it.
