Since these all have true talent and for the most part don't act like a bunch of spoiled brats like the idiots these days.

Zep, Van Halen (David Lee Roth era), Pat, Gaga, and Billy. I gave Lady Gaga the nod over Joan Jett because she's more sensational. Not more talented, just more sensational.

All of the classic artists you mentioned will be remembered. I think some of the newer artists will be remembered too, but not necessarily for their talent. If an artist (or performer--there's a difference) breaks records, chances are they'll be remembered. Forget One Direction and N'Sync though. Boy bands are a dime a dozen.

And, unless I'm mistaken, someone else writes the songs for them, picks out their outfits for them, coreographs their dance moves for them, and probably even wipes their noses for them. They have about as much right to be called "artists" as the Subway sandwich artists do.

Ha! Excellent post there Kenney! It's not like these kids play their own instruments or even knew each other before being auditioned and hired by the record companies to join these phony boybands and the little 'tween girls eat it up.

No one will remember One Direction, N'Sync or Billy Joel :) JB is still questionable, I mean if he suffers a horrible accident and his face gets all disformed, then no more chicks will like him :) Katy Perry is kinda "bubble gummy" but she has some good songs and Gaga is actually really talented and deep, so the jury is still out on Gaga and Perry. Benetar and Jett are good, but I don't know about 100 year good. Zepplin, more than likely will be. VAN HALEN, well I don't think I need to specify this one, anyone that's RUNNIN WITH THE DEVIL will ALWAYS be remembered!!!

I have to agree with Tony. The Piano Man will go down in history. And he's got an edge - any time you think Elton John you automatically think Billy Joel by comparison.

Everyone will still remember Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Pat Benatar and Katy Perry, Joan Jett, and the girl that I hate the most; Justin Bieber. Whenever he tells his girl and comes out of the closet, no girls will like him and all the gay boys will love him. Not that I have anything against gay or bi people. Van Halen is the best and how can anyone forget them!? Led Zeppelin's too cool to be forgotten. Pat Benatar's voice is extremely awesome and she is hot; js. Katy Perry is pretty and she's actually a very good singer. I've always loved Joan Jett, so I don't think anyone will forget her.
