Why did ask.com stop the ban on poll questions?

it makes no sense and is kind of an invasion of privacy

Basically, the feedback we were getting from the Community was that they wanted to be able to ask those types of questions. The good news is, if you'd rather not see certain categories of questions while browsing (like Polls), you can hide them by going to Settings, then to Personal Settings, and selecting the categories you'd like to hide from view.

How is that like an invasion of privacy????? Since there was such a high demand for poll questions,ask.com decided to allow poll questions........

@kevin: we're you forced to answer? Asking a personal question is in no way invasion of privacy. Maybe it's the word "invasion" that confuses you.

Not that poll questions aren't annoying, but how in the world do you consider it an invasion of privacy? Is someone forcing you to answer?
