The loss of weight in most Australian pups is basically due to infestation of worms. They therefore need a good quality broad-spectrum de-wormer. You can bring in a fresh poop sample to the veterinarian to have it tasted for proper diagnosis.

It could be worms or it could have something to do with their diet, what and how much are you feeding them.

Are they getting a lot more exercise than they were previously? If so you might need to bump up the groceries-unless they were previously too heavy and this is a positive change
