A stadium is filled with people that you can hardly move without touching someone, yet there's not a single person in the stadium

a riddle..i need an answer please

All of the people are married so none of them are single. ;)

The way I figure, if there isn't a single person in the stadium, it means everyone must be married. Single in this case isn't in reference to the number, 1, but to the status.

Since there are usually at least 50,000 people in a stadium when filled to capacity, there isn't a "single" person. There are tens of thousands more than one single person. Good question!!
