Why is it so hard to find comparisons for virtual elementary schools online?

I'm trying to find the best virtual school for my 1st grader. She went to a brick and mortar public school for Kindergarten (in Ohio), but didn't learn anything new the entire year. She was bored and disruptive. However, I cannot find enough information online that compares the virtual school options.
Are there any really good parenting forums? (I've tried searching for one with minimal luck.)
