What does green mean?

I've heard people use it on ask.com

When people comment 'green' on an answer they are letting the answerer know that they gave them a thumbs up and liked or agreed with their answer.

In Ask, by clicking the green thumb and voting, it's your way of letting someone know that you valued and appreciated their answer. Comments are a great way to let them know it was you that gave up the "green"

Green= The color of thumbs.
Green means thumbs up because of your helpful answer. Now, Can you please give me a green??? Just kidding but if you want to... Green me. =D
