How do i get windows firewall to allow internet plugins

I've been having problems with audio/video plugins on Firefox 5 & 6;websites like youtube are NEXT TOU SELESS!!!!!

If you go into the firewall settings there should be a tab for exceptions. Doesn't always work- but did for me.
