Do Monroe piercings scar?

I was just wondering if Monroe piercings scar and if so, how bad it is. I'm looking to get mine done and if it does scar (also) is there a way to "un scar" it? (take away the scaring?)

When my friend got hers...she let it heal , you could see where the hole was for about 2 1/2 months, it wasnt until 3 months you could not even see it any more.

Monroe piercings do not leave a scar. My niece had four ear piercings, two on each ear, and after removing the Monroe piercing, there were no scars left out. However, it is required that you take good care of your ears for them to heal fast and have minimal scarring.

Monroe piercings are above the lip, not on the ear.

I have a Monroe and it's a tiny hole so I doubt I'd have much scarring. It's a pretty piercing, even of I'm left with a small scar it's worth it to me.
