I want to improve colour for the photos that is brightness.say me free software to download for permanent use?

i know taaz.com but it improves colour only for face.i want to see even brightness for the whole snap.i have downloaded photolightning but it is only for 30 days.later i need to buy it.so i want to download a free software which will be helpful for the permanent use.i have photofiltre.com for permanent use but it does not have good brightness levels.photoligtning is good,but it is not for free.

How successful you can correct digital images depends much on the format the camera outputs. The .raw (or .nef) format gives best options for manipulation. But also .jpg pictures can be souped up a bit still. Get the program Faststone Image Viewer, which is free and has a lot of functions for picture manipulation. Another good free program is GIMP, but its very complex and takes some time to get accustomed to.

You can use various photo editing software's like Paint.net Photopos, PEdit, Stoik Imagic, Digikam or Visual Box. These applications are easy to install and can be downloaded for free through websites like Filehippo.com.
