Should i still be friends with someone that says that my religion is stupid?

my friend says that i have a stupid religion... before she said that she was very nice then it seem that after she made that comment she would always say something rude about my religion

If she can't tolerate your religion, don't be her friend. Tell her it upsets you and see how she reacts: if she says that she will stop and does, try to get over it; if she refuses and continues, sever the friendship.

No. You shouldn't be around anyone like that that will lower your self-esteem

No, if she has a problem with your religion then she obviously doesn't care for you that much.:/

No you shouldn't...if they can't accept you for who you are or what you like then they don't deserve you as a friend.

friends should always accept you for who you are, and if religion is part of you, then they should accept that too. you don't always have to agree with someone to respect them. tell them that and see what they say.

Yes! Don't force it on her though make an example of your religion available through you!

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but a real friend wouldnt have directly insulted you that way. There are more friendly ways of expressing ones opinion.

If they don't talk about religion much, then yes. Otherwise, it is probably not a good idea to still be friends.

If you can both agree not to talk about your religions around each other, and if you can both agree to respect each other's choices, then I don't think you necessarily need to end a friendship over it. However if she is constantly putting you down because of your religion, then you need to let her know how that makes you feel and that it's not acceptable to you for her to act like that.

If she can't separate her friendship with you, from the feelings she has about your religion, then you are better off letting her go.

Decide between yourselves that religion is not a topic to be discussed and move in big she can't go along with that, move on alone.

I'm so sorry. But, you know what, that is called persecution. Jesus was persecuted. Breaks my heart, but you know Who's heart is very mindful of yours? That's it Jesus! You have been identified with Him in His sufferings. You can love your friend, but maybe you can also find a new friend as well. There's another person or persons out there in your age group who can appreciate your faith and also other things that you enjoy as well. Ask Him to do that for you. And I believe He will make it happen. You may not see it the same day, but He cares and I believe He will give you another to fellowship and have fun with. Maybe a youth group at church and more. You may be so busy with so many good friends that you find it hard to find a spare moment just for yourself! I wish you the very best!!

A good friend is not easy to come by. You can still be good friends despite your religious disagreement. However, if you do not want your belief to be laughed at, then you should keep it to yourself.

You should end the friendship immediately if anyone ever offends you or what you do like that.

No you shouldn't be freinds with her. If she can't respect your religion and makes rude comments, then she's not a good friend.
