What do you do when you have a song stuck in your head? What methods work for "un-sticking" that song?

Just curious... wondering what different means work for different people...

For me,usually telling someone about it helps. They always seem to have an example of their own that takes it's place!

What's been stuck in your head lately?
I have a song from a TV commercial (it's actually a song from the '70s) that I can't get rid of, no matter what I do. Ugh, it's been driving me crazy, especially when I'm trying to sleep... just...won't...STOP!!
(Maybe I need to shut the TV off for a while, haha!)

You may try forgetting the song that is stuck in your head, by singing along to another one. Keep the new song playing for while, and sing long no matter how many times it is repeated. You may also try reading a book to forget it.

I don't know why but this works me. If you listen to the song that's stuck in your head.

Sing a different song to yourself. Look up the lyrics online if you're obsessing over a missing part, and it might set it free. You can also think of another song and get it stuck in your head. You could also stop thinking about it! :)
