Is Humira a NSIAD?

I am Having a Procedure done and I can not take any NSAIDs

Report as

NO. No, Humira is a biologic... not an NSAID. NSAID stands for Non-Steroidal-Anti-Inflammatory-Drug. Biologics such as HUMIRA are a class of treatments that target specific components of the immune system that cause the inflammation in psoriatic arthritis.

Humira is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to reduce the symptoms of gastrointestinal tract disease. However, this drug can lower the immunity of your system so it is important to discuss your usage of it with your doctor. Some of the problems it causes include liver disease, nervous system issues, allergic reactions and many more. Read about it on http://www.humira.com/crohns/default.aspx.
