Game controllers hook up to the PC by use of adapters with usb cables. These are usually purchased separately from the gaming systems. They allow you to plug your pad onto the adapter and further plug your adapter on to the computer or laptop. If you get a wireless adapter you can hook up xbox 360 controllers to your pc ..... Note that only certain games will allow them to work on it.
