Computers that may have potentially been infected can check the following site http://www.dcwg.org and follow the instructions to find out if the malware is present on your computer. In most cases, you are probably fine, however if you are one of the small number of people who has been infected, there will be additional instructions given on how to fix the issue.
For more information you can also check the FBI site as well...

Spybot Search and Destroy, Malewarebyes Anti-Malware, CCleaner are free and mostly all you will ever need.. The only 1 time pay for program I recommend is RegZooka, does everything else the other programs I suggested can not do. -- A handy tip. If you want a lower power "virus detector" over AVG, use SpeedFan.. It is just a temperature detection application, but if you know the normal temperature of your computer, and the heat is above that. Either your computer is getting dirty and needs to be cleaned, or you got a virus and need to run one of those freeware programs I suggested earlier. -- I do not use AVG or any other firewall besides the Windows Firewall, mostly because I'm a gamer and it causes in game problems, in some way or form.
