It is a sin in God's eyes. But like any other sin, you will be forgiven if you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and ask for forgiveness. If you do this you will not be denied access to the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26/27; 1 Corinthians ::9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When people continue in sin and unbelief, God "gives them over" to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual "offenders" will not inherit the kingdom of God.
However, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a "greater" sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God's forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Philippians 4:13).
Since you were just wondering, I hope this answered some of your questions. :)

I don't believe god would send someone to hell for being gay. God made the person and he loves that person. Being gay is not a choice, so god wouldn't be fair or just if he did send gay's to hell and god is fair and just. So... That's just what I believe.

Because He makes the rules and not us. If God has convicted us as individuals of sin, then He holds us accountable for that sin regarless of what that sin is.

But god made the person gay so why would he condemn to hell something he is responsible for?

I don't believe so but most Christians would disagree..I am "Catholic" but don't follow the religion that closely..but my God is one that is understanding and loving to all His children..so I'm my book your still a good Christian:)

No! God loves all his children, and he wants us to live our lives righteously and humbly, put our faith in Jesus Christ, and love one another for who we are, practicing forgiveness and the other teachings of Christ in the bible.
No one Christian should follow what anybody else says except for Christ. Listen to your heart because that's where you'll find God.
Don't let any person tell you to be who you're not, because you won't find happiness that way. An unhappy life leads to real sin, and often a lost connection with God. If you are true to your unique self as God made you, and live a happy life by doing good and what is right, you will find eternal happiness in heaven.

you will go to hell if you don't repent - the devil tries to make people believe u can do what u want - god made adam and eve - not adam and adam - god will forgive you if you ask him to - find a woman -

Actually God made Adam and . . . no one.

He created man alone.

He then made all the animals, male and female.

Why did he create the animals as male and female from the start, but not man? Maybe he initially intended on man being alone, only making one human, to be his (God's) human guy friend.

It was only AFTER seeing Adam was lonely did he make Eve (or Lillith, depending on what book you read) as a precious gift to Adam.

So, who's to say?

Just because having sex is a sin doesn't mean that orientation or desire is. And just because a person sins doesn't mean they are going to Hell.

GOD did not write the Bible - MAN did.

And as we all know, all to well, man is fallible.

Even if God told people what to write, just like with the game of telephone, messages get distorted - whether intentionally or unintentionally.

People also have a way of putting what they feel is right or wrong, according to personal beliefs or politics, into the popular word of the day.

I believe people are born Gay. If being gay is a sin that would refuse one entrance into heaven, yet a serial killer, who asks for forgiveness one moment before a death sentence is enforced, is admitted through the pearly gates - I choose to spend eternity with people who haven't harmed others. I can't think of a worse hell than spending eternity in heaven with some self righteous murders.

Not to mention, isn't it also a sin to pass judgement on others?

Just because murderer asks for forgiveness right before being sentenced to death it doesn't mean they automatically go to heaven . god looks at the heart and see if there intentions were out of greed.

If god created you then he surely created your emotion and passion too. If nothing can happen without the will and approval of god, then the gays and their sexual passions must also be created and guided by the will of god. Now, why would a god condemn gays for something that he (god) clearly had created and caused - if he really is a god?

I have experienced being gay, and I know it isn't something you can control. If someone is truly gay then he was made that way by God. It is hard to understand but for me (I am a guy) I just simply wasn't interested in women, and I would find myself checking out men. At first I denied it, but I soon realized it and I accepted it, and in a way it has helped me see the side of someone that is different this way. I hope I helped answer your question.

If we were born that way then it would be that we were born that way after sin had taken place in the Garden of Eden, and for example, some babies are born with heart or liver abnormlities and such. But, before sin initially had taken place with Adam and Eve, they would have been born with no abnormalities. God created man and then woman, or Eve, and told them to be fruitful and multiply. It goes against the Order of things to be otherwise, man with man or woman with woman. I have compassion for one who struggles with any situation in life regardless of what the situation, but Jesus has yet, more perfect compassion than I. He loves us, gay or not. But, we have to consider what He says and how He is a God of Order if we really want to know how it is and not just assume. I and others have situations in life that seem ok because they seem to come natural to us just as a human. But, it doesn't make us right in God's point of view. Does He love us, yes! But, we have to at some point, get back to the basic of things. And at the basic, God created man and then gave him a female and said be fruitful and multiply. Some gays in life seem to have chosen that lifestyle by clear drive from birth and some seem to do so because for example, terrible lack in childhood for a father and seek that male companionship, (and vice versa, women lacking in childhood for mothering). and maybe more reasons than I know of. But, whether it's porn or gay or lesbian or cigarette addiction, it would be so wonderful if we, as a Christ and love one another and pray for each other and so fulfill the law of Christ. He loves us and we need Him and we need each other. No man is an island unto Himself and there is strength in knowing that. It doesn't or shouldn't portray weakness but instead, wisdom and choice. When all the parts of something work in right order so smooth is the operation of such and so very productive. God loves people. He desires us and that is why He made us. We mention and hear of Hell alot. God loves us so much. (more below)

He made Hell for the thief (satan and fallen angels), who wants and fights daily to steal our soul. God has compassion and wants to save us. He does have laws and yes, there are rules, but they are for guidelines that we might know how to live. There is order and He is not a God of chaos, but His Grace, He extends toward us, His Compassion, His Salvation, and liberty to fellowship and worship Him and to live in peace. And that peace is far beyond the peace that the world can offer. He loves us gay and not.

Some at first deny it then grow to accept it. Others become preachers and constantly berate others with the same affliction. Some even start "Pray Away the Gay" Clinics, and spend the better part of their lives beating pillows with brooms shouting, "MOM!! MOM!!!! MMMOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!". It all depends on one's ability to deal.

God isn't in to the sending people to hell business, but how ever he is into the changing and transforming life's business. The whole purpose behind the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ is for mankind to transformed, changed, born again, born from above.==========Humans give life to their children. Yet only God's Spirit can change you into a child of God. Don't be surprised when I say that you must be born from above. (John 3:6, 7 CEVUK)==========he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:5 NLT)======= This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT)))))) After reading the scriptures we can see plainly that God clearly wants to change all mankind not send them to hell. Now if we refuse heaven's transformation then we will not inherit God's kingdom.============Don?t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don?t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people?none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NLT)))) There's so much more that I could share on this subject but I will give one more verse. Remember God is a holy God and in order for us to be with him we all must submit to his divine transformation or be born-again, that's the reason why he sent his son as a sin sacrifice.==========For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge
(to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might
find salvation and be made safe and
sound through Him. (John 3:17 AMP)

Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one?for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one?for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God?s right hand, pleading for us.
Can anything ever separate us from Christ?s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God?s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow?not even the powers of hell can separate us from God?s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below?indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:33-35, 37-39 NLT)

God may love the person but it doesn't mean he loves what that person is doing . It's like a parent to a child . Sometimes we do things that embarrass or bring shame to our parents but they still love us BUT we must still accept the punishent for our sins. Another example would be a man who commits murder and is caught sent to prison and eventually finds God . Him finding god doesn't mean he's free from prison because he still has to pay for his crime . ... I don't exactly now about not being able to help loving someone of the same sex becauseIv never been in that situation. But I honestly believe gay lesbian transgender or transvestites or anyone who doesn't follow the word of god doesnt get into heaven.
