How often should you pee?

If you drink as much water as they say you should, I would say fairly often. And if you're properly hydrated it should look pretty clear. If it's a dark yellow you aren't drinking enough fluids.

it really isnt how much you should pee it is how much should you drink? ideally we need 1 to 2 litres of fluid a day, and your bladder can only take about 300-400 mls. so that works out to about 4 or 5 times a day (night included) to avoid infection or rupture.

it means you are not drinking enough. as fatkenny above said, keep an eye on the colour. "ideal" pee should look like water and have no smell. you can drink 4 or 5 litres of coke a day but that wouldnt keep you hydrated and you pee would be dark as your body can not intake all the sugars and protienes in it. but if you drink water or juice or milk etc it should come out clear or light yellow.

If you believe you are urinating much more pr more often than you should, test yourself for diabetes. It is common to polyurinate if you have it. Good luck!!
