Why is my 5 year old son constantly acting up? He used to be so good. My youngest son is 7 months old. Could it be jealousy?

Could be he was used to having all of you're attention now he has to share you. Make one day a week a you and just him doesn't have to be all day just dinner or a movie or even a trip to the toy store and when you're baby is older do the same. Find something to do with each child so you also have one on one time.

I have an older daughter( teen) and a 4 yr. old daughter too. I always spend one on one time with each one. His behavior is awful....

Still was he the youngest up in till now? If he was his roll as the "baby" of the family is now over and he may not like it.

No, I had 1 younger than him before the baby was born.

Yes absolutely. When a new sibling appears, it can turn a first Child's world upside down. They are no longer the only focus and they don't get all of the attention they once got. Including him in activities with the baby can start helping the process of making him feel like he is really important and needed. It will subside, I promise.

He thinks he has to compete for your attention. Involve your five year old when you are changing your baby's diapers or feeding your baby. Encourage your son to be a mentor to your baby

I think is trying to get your attention. He may not feel noticed. So he does weird things to help you notice him. Good luck :)
