Why should I do when I get toothaches

Report as

Until you can see a dentist, ibuprofen is the best pain relief you'll get. It is safe to take up to 4 (over the counter) ibuprofen every 4-6hrs while you're hurting. It has a good anti-inflammatory effect that will also help in eventual healing.

*RN for 21yrs. Experienced ibuprofen user.

O sure hate those tooth aches. The best thing for you to do of course is to see a dentist. But in the mean time you can use over the counter tooth ache drops. These do work for a while but he bottom line sis this not a cure. Warm compresses may help also.
