I personally think that a lot of people like and watch Jerry Springer because for one it is funny. People like it as well because of the fighting and rowdiness that happens on the show.

Some people thrive on others unhappiness. Some people need to watch that to feel better about themselves...but who knows?

I think a lot of people just like the nonsense of it all, its mindless entertainment.. I think it's a guilty pleasure for most, although I don't get it, that show makes my head hurt.

I used to watch Jerry, when I got depressed...but then I felt worse, so I stopped watching.
