I don't think those are elements.
Report as
They actually are!
Report as
Report as
Nope. That's elemental abilities. Not elements. Y'all are into to much avitar
Report as
What is avavtar? And they are too elements!
Report as
No. Fire is not an element and it can never be or was! It was one of the 1000s or even millions of ancient and medieval proof-less, funny, unscientific, and false believes/thoughts that Fire is one of the fundamental things everything in this material world (including us!) and even heavenly bodies are made up of 5 elements/panchaboothas. Both Greeks and Indians are among these. There are no such elements called sky/space/akasha/ether, Earth/bhoomi, Fire/heat, Water, and Air/Vaayu. We are not made up of any of these elements apart from water. Unfortunately, there are many people around the globe who still believe in this myth. Do not blindly believe in anything without proof(s) whether is science or religion! There is no such rule that belief(ies) of majority of people should be or will be true ;-)
Fire: Combustion or burning, in which substances combine chemically with oxygen from the air and typically give out bright light, heat, and smoke. - New Oxford American Dictionary, 2009. Element: Any of the more than 100 known substances (of which 92 occur naturally) that cannot be separated into simpler substances and that singly or in combination constitute all matter
Report as
So I think that just about proves it
Report as
woh there, ok then
Report as
Yea sorry I get kinda OCD about things like this.
Report as
So sorry Doni but, you are wrong they are elements and that's that! So deal with it!;)
Report as
Yea, they are elements! Water, fire, wind, and earth are elements just like the patriotic ones.
Report as
Thanks!;) Exactly!;)
Report as
i didn't realize that a dumb question about what element you would control would spark such an indepth conversation on the definition of an element. gee whiz, ill post the definition
.
A part or aspect of something, esp. one that is essential or characteristic.

there we go. all of the answers work.
Report as
No that's the wrong definition. That's a part of somthing. Sorry y'all are wrong and my entire paragraph proves it.
Report as
And it's periodic not patriotic
Report as
Besides if elemental powers were real earth water and air would only be controlled because they are COMPOUNDS made of ELEMENTS. so it would be the periodic table elements you like hydrogen oxygen and for earth you'd be controlling elements like iron gold cobalt you know the ELEMENTS you find in rocks
Report as
And I'm not sure what elements you find in fire it all depends what's combusting.

read any definition you want
Report as
Yes but your quoting the wrong type of elements. You meant something physical and natural on the earth. Not just a piece of somthing. Because then people would be like I would control a gun on a plane. Because of course that's an element of a plane. Get it?
Report as
Ok if your really so adiment that those are elements ask a scientist. Not a public school science teacher. But a real qualified scientist.
Report as
They are elements so suck it up!
