I have really bad sleeping habits and I'd like to wake up at a normal time?

My 'bedtime' is 11:00. I can't fall asleep at night, and end up going to bed in the early morning and waking up late noon-ish. I am sleeping all through the important times of the day. What are some good ways to get my body to go to sleep on time, and wake up at a normal time? I'm fifteen, and I have tried taking something to make me sleepy, then end up going to bed early and waking up at like 11 or some time in the early morning.

Stop drinking coffee past 6pm, go for a jog or something to exhaust itself, don't be going on ask.com when it's 3am

You have to go to sleep earlier. Go jogging or do something to make yourself physically and mentally tired before going to bed.

Lots of young and older folks are MENTALLY exhausted. Meaning to many thoughts (mostly negative) on your mind. See my reply below showing as Bruce M. PMA

lol same here. think lots of kids do that. I am up at 4am right now. Well I guess u just set a bed time for yourself like 9. Then be in bed at 9. I know sounds stupid but I bet it'll help lol. It is importing that u get 8 hours of sleep.:)

I have that same problem, what I do is I set an alarm for 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. wake up and stay awake until 8:00 p.m. then I go back to sleep and I keep setting the alarm to wake up early.

Me too! :/ id try going to sleep earlier and if you cant close your eyes and put on some music and let your mind drift and soon enough youll feel sleepy
