Who thinks the world is going to end

Report as

I do... Eventually. Only God knows when the world is going to end. Yes God because he's real!

D: god is so real!!!
Report as
No answer? Nobody home.
Report as
It's not silly. God IS real.
Report as
He created the earth and everything you see in 7 days. He hand crafted every living being on this earth. He created the air you breathe. The moon and the sun. Night and day. Everything you see was Gods doing.
Report as
Can you really say that God isn't real when you have all this around you?
Report as
What proof do you have that he even created those things? All you have is the word of someone you don't know from hundreds of years ago in a book that has been repeatedly translated back and forth between languages.
Report as
I don't have proof, but I do have faith. I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that God is real.

In return, how can you say God isn't real? You also have no proof...

It's a site run by satanists but it still provides some good facts.

Even so, the so called proof you have is merely people's opinions of what is real and not. It's all still a hypothesis. There is no way for them to know for sure. As I also don't know for sure if God is real, but that's why you need faith. To believe in something that you can't see.

Satanists = loossserrsss aka rejects
Report as
More like misguided... I think they could find God if they gave him a chance.
Report as
Actually, I've tried both religions and each sides arguments are incredibly similar, the exception being satanists claim to have proof with their guardian demons and chakra etc.
Report as
Their what?? This is why I'll be sticking with my religion. Demons
and chakra...oh dear
Report as
Haha ikr, it sounds silly, but these people are serious about it, no matter how divided they are in their beliefs. Considering I followed that religion for about 5 months and still couldn't understand if they believed Satan was a god or an extraterrestrial.

Do any of you true believers in the supernatural want to make a quick million dollars? Author, ex-magician, debunker and theological skeptic, James Randi will give you $1 million in cash if you can prove anything supernatural - religious, occult, UFO's, Big Foot, Atlantis, witchcraft, demons, Gods, angels, - your choice - the challenge has been around for many years now - and the money is still sitting in a sealed vault.
Report as
I don't think anybody's gonna see that money again... At least not for thousands of years anyway. I'd like to see what people try and show as proof.
Report as
God is REAL, FULL STOP.

Begin new sentence. What if he wasn't?

Everyone needs something to believe in. If not, what do they have to look forward to?
Report as
I recently started this book called 'Heaven is for Real' it's a quick read. It's a true story based on the account of a little boy who meets God while he's in the hospital.
Report as
Somehow the boy knew stuff that he never should have known. Like what his parents were doing while he was under anesthesia in a different room getting surgery. And how he meets his sister who died as a baby that he never met, who his parents never told him about...

i wouldn't mind, as long as it's peaceful! and yes eventually, but i wouldn't say it would 'end' something more peaceful like depart from it's inhibitors, when we all go to to the Gates of Heaven!

Eventually, yes. I have no idea when. Give God a call. He should know.

God only speaks to Republican candidates for the Presidential nomination for the 2012 election. He also spoke to George Bush, authorizing him to invade Iraq and kill as many people as possible while flattening the country under millions of tons of bombs. God also told the Prophet Muhammed to murder as many non-Muslims as possible by the use of jihad (holy war) and martyrdom (suicide bombings). God refuses to speak to the fetus murdering, Marxist, socialist-Communist, Left wing liberals since they support such blasphemies as gay marriage, women's rights, fair taxation laws, higher education, and worst of all: science! How dare they!

Well, the religious can't wait for it to end and most believe that will happen in their lifetimes - where they will rise to heaven and the rest of us, whom God also loves, will be sent to burn in eternal torment. For those not mired in religion, our sun will exhaust its energy supply billions of years from now - first becoming a huge white giant before it collapses in on itself and possibly ends up becoming a small black hole. We had better have relocated to other planets by then. Oh yeah - we could be hit by a Gamma Ray Burst at any time, which would fry us before we knew what had hit us - so far we've been lucky.

Also gas supplies will run out and if we haven't moved on to a new source of energy like solar or tidal, there would be chaos everywhere due to incredibly large gas prices.
Report as
It's not like we're going in our heads each day, "I can't wait to die." We are looking forward though to being in Gods kingdom with him for eternity(:
Report as
If heaven exists then you would probably only meet god once after you die.

I have a question for you, oh person of faith: what do you expect to see in your heavenly reward after death? If a true miracle happens, and I'm allowed into heaven - do I still have to live under the rule of a celestial dictator? I would expect heaven to include free will and besides all of those virgins - or are they reserved for Muslims only (heaven must be segregated), the opportunity to act as a free agent - simply because I value freedom from tyranny so much that I deem it "heavenly".

KL: would you be able to handle it if this life you have here on earth, right now, was "as good as it gets?" would you lose all meaning to continue living if you found out, conclusively, that all of any religion's claims were just fictions invented by ancient, superstitious, men that were barely literate, had no understanding of how the world worked, borrowed (plagiarized) their stories from older religions, and had a world view about the size of Rhode Island? Would you still have the will to live ?

It will eventually, but not right now. Like in, about.. what rustyboilerz said. In about 10-20 billion years.

The sun is about 4.57 billion years old - and halfway through its lifespan, at which point, it will become a red giant with a radius greater than the distance from the sun to the earth's orbit - most likely destroying any life on earth - or even destroying the earth itself. That's a long time from now: 4,000 million years and then some.
