Why won't my Nikon coolpix S4100 camera charge?

I bought the camera new in about February of this year and it has worked fine until recently when it just wouldn't charge. I plugged it into the wall like usual and nothing, the green light didn't come on and I left it plugged in for about 20 minutes and still nothing. The charger wasn't even warm. It won't even turn on and I tried taking the battery out and put it back and nothing.. I'm not really sure how to charge it by computer though. I tried the camera shortcut on my computer and couldn't find anything and I just plugged in the USB cord and still nothing?? I might just have to take it back and see what they can do, but I really want to try and see if it will work before then? :?

Your camera might not be charging due to a problem in its charging system. It might also be a fault on the charger itself. You should visit the store where you purchased it and get informed on the causes of this fault.

That's what I thought as well, since the cord itself wasn't registering. Thanks! I definitely have to do that. :)

Did you check the plug you were trying to charge from? Or try another outlet? I know if I plug my camera (Nikon D5000) in on my computer it drains the power.
