What fix for power window that will not go up?

Report as

Recently, I had my oil changed and mentioned that my power windows would not go down and I had installed a new fuse.
I was somewhat taken aback when I saw the mechanic give my car door a swift kick. The window worked! He said "In Florida, they often freeze up and a kick will loosen it." You might try it. I recommend putting something on the door so that you will not dent it!

Probably need a little more info but I will try, if it goes down but not up then I would say the window motor that's behind your door panel needs replaced. If the window doesn't go down or up then I would say check the fuse. But with out more info that's all I got

You should first check the fuse and window relays. Your window button will do nothing if the fuse is not in good condition. You should also check window regulators. Visit http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/maintenance/1272371 or consult a mechanic for more details.

9 times out of ten, it's just the switch that needs replacing.
