Advice on How to Stick to a Weightloss Plan/Diet?

For the past two years, i've tried losing weight. Last year, I was doing well. I was counting my calories, I gave up on sugary drinks, etc. I knew it was working. Friends even told me I was losing. One day, though, I drank a bottle of pop. Then I stopped calorie counting. I tried again last month and instead of lasting a few months, I only lasted 1. I know now that calorie counting doesn't work for me, it's too redundant. I'm starting to walk in the mornings, soon to be jogging, but it hasn't shown any results like dieting. Any advice for adapting healthy habits into your daily habits? Or just ways of making calorie counting easier? Fast results would be appreciated, but I understand that's not always possible. Thank you very much.

Instead of trying to "stay on track" you should choose some habits that you want to have and work on implementing those in your life. It takes 2 weeks to break your old habits so after that being healthy will come naturally to you. (that doesn't mean that you will have infinite willpower after two weeks or anything, but that time frame is sort of the 'climax' so after two weeks it should get easier until you won't always be thinking that you're "on a diet")

To go back to dieting, try to easy your self off o the junk foods and sugary drinks. Try to only drink pop or eat a certain amount of junk food a day, like only drink one can a pop a day, then go on to not drink pop

I guess eating healthy stuff might help. And try to eat junk food once or twice a week. Go outside, play sports and run around. If you have kids, then playing a game of "tag" with them might help. Kids are always fast and energetic, so it will really help. Try not to eat sugary things much, once a week? About that. Well that is my thought and advice :D
