what would cause a 2 year old to wake every night crying that his legs & feet hurt?

Report as

Okay first I'm not trying to scare you. I have a child who's 3 and I would not intentionally scare a mother. It could be growing pains, these are real. But, one of the signs of leukemia is leg pain that is sharp enough to where a young child would complain. It is probably something little, but please go to the doctor to check.

my little cousin always used to do that too. But i think it was just because he was growing quickly and the muscle and tissue in your joints get stiff and uncomfortable and hurt.

It could be why some kids have where their legs/feet are turned a little in or a little out. I have a friend like that an she needs to wear leg braces. Bring your kid to the doctor right away.

I'm usually the last person who would jump to the conclusion that a doctor should see your kid, but after reading that first answer - I hope you're on your way right now.

Growing pains...they are very real. I would suggest contacting your pediatrician. You can never be too cautious.
