Has anyone on here ever tried the cinnamon challenge?

just wondering...

No and it isn't a good idea to do it. 122 + deaths due to this. You can have vomiting, choking, heart problems. It is like someone telling you to jump off a bridge because it is "the latest thing to do" and none of these people can swim. I think a better fad is not following this.

Good morning smart answerer. Just woke up. Got my cat cracker running and making good gasoline for everyone last night after it broke and we fixed it. Whewee. Worked my fanny off!

bk, your wife won't like that :) what is happening to the BP stations? They are closed here.

I could attempt to explain why big oil companies do what they do, but it would turn into an extemporaneous diatribe of petrochemical blather. Plus word might leak out of how smart I am and they would try to make me run an oil company and I'm way too lazy for that. Ha. But if you really want me to, I'll try to make some sense out of it for you. Lot of typing though. Are sure you want me to turn into Ken Blather??

It started one day when Jed was shooting at some food, and up from the ground came a bubbling crude...oil that is, black gold, Texas tea...

Ok...here goes. Oil companies in the early days, the first hundred years or so, were like ordinary companies. They wanted EVERYONE to know WHO they were, and how great and wonderful THEY were. It was all about creating brand image. 100 years of brand image development. But after they realized that oil, gas, and petrochemical products had turned into commodities, and you made the same money whether you had brand image or no brand image, brand image morphed into a different animal. Oil companies couldn't give a rats fanny what you, me or a guy named Lee think about what BP or Exxon or Shell is or isn't. The only thing they care about is to please and make their shareholders happy, and whatever they can do that will build up their stock price. So don't think they give a flip about a corner gas station. They are going to make the same money if there is a BP sign on the storefront or if it says Junior's Quick Stop # 3. It is a lot less hassle if it says Juniors. Most of the time the gas station owners are independent and pay the oil company for the use of their logos. So if BP falls out of favor, up goes a different sign. The station owners are going to want "Johnny come lately" instead of the one that ruined the gulf of Mexico and the tourism of 5 states. BP doesn't lose anything. They make the same thing either way. They may lose a little revenue from the sign license but that is chump change to an oil company. The oil, gas, and petrochemical industry is so big and vast and intermingled that signs on the corner gas station are about as significant as one of the many stickers on my old beat up hard hat. Well, there you go...Ken Blather, reporting on the state of the oil industry, live from his man cave in Texas....

PS Beaut. I left a doozy classic KB answer to an interesting question out there if you can find it. You'll probably get a chuckle out of it. First born 1 did.

kb, Phillips went up on one. I got it. I thought BP went down because of the spills. Interesting to say the least. Fascinating with the flips Mr Engineer and sole expert to the commoner. Thanks...it amazes me, we hear about the pipeline. Oil, yes. Oil, no. I still BP advertise how great everything is then I watch a documentary about rebuilding the coral reefs because they have been hit so hard...thanks buddy!!!

Exxon went through the same thing with the Exxon Vandez spill. Good thing for them it was way up in Alaska. Rave could probably tell you about that more than I could. No Internet back then. BP has done a banner job on cleanup and conservation. But I'd rather work at my Phillips plant because we just do everything way more safer. Give a turnaround contractor a choice of nearly any other refinery and they would choose ours. They have told me that out in the smoking pen back when I smoked.

Always here. Yes, I loved it. It puts it in perspective. The more I know or learn from the real deal the happier I am. You are a world of interesting things. Cooking, happiness, step dad, working crazy hours that drive some nutty. I was thinking about your step daughter. I always end up being a friend instead of a mother figure. Since my dad died on Christmas I get a child from a home that has no one. I am always alone that day. Well, except going to the cemetery. Then the next day we go shopping. Sort of like the organization Big Brother-Big Sister.

Well, you got a good buddy here. You may not realize it but you were the first one that ever followed me here on ask. You just kinda happened. I remember looking at my profile and seeing followed by one. And there you were. So I followed you back and found such a quality buddy and friend and to think I didn't even know about this place. My first question was when I discovered a painful lump in my left breast. I agonized over it for weeks and finally anonymously asked about it on ask. Not the personal part of ask just the website hookups. So I went through the ordeal, followed the advice, went to the doctor and found out it didn't look like cancer but probably needs to come out. So I'm figuring out a way I can get this surgery without the guys at work finding out. The razzing can be terrible. "I'm such a bitch I have breast cancer like a woman". Yeah, I know. They are heartless bastards. But any way that's how I wound up on ask and got you as a buddy. I'm glad I found you. You are special to me. : )

Well, then we both are going for the same "look see" at the doctor. Guys can have problems and I understand the razzing. Better safe than sorry special bud.

Hug and a puppy sniff for you!

Ok. You are probably wondering what the heck a puppy sniff is. It is a little thing that I do when I'm giving someone I love a hug. I just hold them real tight and sniff in their ear like a sweet little puppy and listen to them squeal in delight. Beaut, you just got a puppy sniff!

I have tried the cinnamon challenge but I was not successful. It is a hard challenge that requires you to swallow an amount of cinnamon in about 60 seconds. What makes it hard is the fact that you are not allowed to drink any liquid after swallowing.
