okay! calm down! im a surfer and often in the same sit... do you use tampons? if so do! but if a beginner, buy like 5 or less LIGHT tampons with plastic applicator like tampax lites, and change it more often OR wear a pad with boardshorts the pad wont fall off but it wont stay on... OR if you are lighter, just go in with nothing, but wear black or red bottoms i hoped i helped! good luck!

You can use tampons but if you prefer not then, sorry hun you might not be able to go

You should wear tampons. This is because they do not cause any leaks and are thus the best choice for going surfing. If you are not able to wear them, then it's a smart choice not to go surfing while on the period. Wearing pads may cause leaks and absorb water making you feel uncomfortable.
