I guess one thing that personally, has always been important to me is having a physical connection with someone. Being able to hold their and or hug them or be close to them....it makes me feel closer to them.

well actually because as your relationship gets longer you guys get too know each other better and sometimes when they get to know you too well they dont like the real you however some long lasting relationships last long because SOMETIMES the boy/girl likes the real you (p.s) it is really rare
The biggest reason is that you cant actually interact with eachother online as much as you can in real life and it just makes relationship worse and worse.

Actually its depending upon both of you. If there is true love and trust in your relation then distance doesn't matter.
They do if you guys really love each other than long distance or no long distance you guys just can't leave each other because you really wanna be together. Plus the physical connection part is not true because if that guy is real serious for you than he'll wait for sure!

And well thats when he decided to ask me out ^_^ we spent days on the phone textinq or callinq each other .. skypinq .. it lasted 2 years. & then .. well love decided to finally leave us but hey congrats on your lonq distance relationship wish for the best for you both (:
